There I was in dire need of a constructed work out. After not being able to walk for 7 months the previous year I knew I was in bad shape and needed help and not be in a wheelchair in two years. I have worked out all my life but I needed a plan! I needed a work out to accommodate my mobility issues and strength or lack of. I did not have the time to go to the Y....get there after work, change, find trainer and wait for others to finish to using equipment! No strength, too tired to do all that after a days work bending over patients. After work I barely made it up the stairs in my house and crashed on the couch.......I knew this was not going to work out well and I was facing a wheelchair in about two years............desperate for help!!! (then I met) LARA MADDEN..PAR EXCELLANCE!!!! SHE KNEW AND KNOWS JUST HOW TO STRUCTURE A WORK OUT TO MY PERSONAL NEEDS. Before the end of the first month I found myself able to walk up and down my house stairs...no problem, have the energy to play with my fur babes. I found myself too, not thinking OH I have to go down stairs and do laundry, OH I have to go upstairs and clean, Oh pick up kitty toys and so on. Once I realized that, I felt "free" and not receding from life as I had been. I work out with Lara 3xs a week with exercises that assist my mobility needs while creating strength. I feel and look better after each passing week, making improvements as I go....always looking ahead for "Challenge Fridays". Lara's experience, personal touch, caring was/is exactly what I needed.
